- Ensure they are for different genres and target audiences

Summarise your findings 
Which features do you think are most important? Explain your reasons.
How do they compare depending on target audiences and genre?

Task: Annotate your own text

1. Choose a film poster, album cover or magazine cover.
2. Copy and paste it into a document.
3. Around the outside, insert text boxes with notes applying MIGRAIN. You need to EXPLAIN your points by backing it up with an example from the text. How did you come about to your answer?
4. Use terminology as appropriate.

11D HW - Music Magazine Cover Analysis

Due Friday 19th September - turn it in via Edmodo

Analyse the front cover of 3 music magazines. They can be either three different genres or the same genre with different target audiences. 

Your focus should be on:
a) Using correct terminology to identify conventions
b) Backing up your points with specific examples
c) Explaining how it fits the genre
d) Explaining how you have identified the target audience - break down in terms of demographics and psychographics
e) Explaining how it attracts its target audience - this should highlight the importance of the conventions
d) State what you like/don't like and explain why.

Add to your HW by explaining the typography used on your magazine covers.
