BBC Young Reporter is back! For 2020 the BBC have slightly changed their format to make it even better. Instead of just one day of news reporting, it will last a whole week during the week commencing 9th March.

BFI Film Academy - Residential

It's that time of year again! Many of you will have heard about my experiences chaperoning students from other schools at this amazing academy, which is delivered by the well renowned National Film and Television School.

Application deadlines are looming - Monday 22nd January. You need to apply well before that date so that I can provide you with a reference. I'll be working on the project again and it is always one of the highlights of my year and it would be great if you could be apart of it too. It is during the Easter break so you will not miss out on any school.

The Sunday Times Culture

This amazing one shot video was made by Black Island Studios. They shot 26 takes on the day, but it was take 16 that was used to advertise 'The Sunday Times Culture' for The Sunday Times. How many of the iconic scenes from media texts do you recognise?

It's that time of year again when Christmas adverts will be gracing our screens. I do actually look forward to them! What have been some of your favourites?

This year Marks & Spencer's have been clever and tied it in with the release of Paddington Bear 2. A great way to create synergy between both brands and target a family market.
