11B HW - Music magazine cover analysis

Due Friday 12th September - turn it in via Edmodo

Analyse the front cover of 3 music magazines. They can be either three different genres or the same genre with different target audiences. 

Your focus should be on:
a) Using correct terminology to identify conventions
b) Backing up your points with specific examples
c) Explaining how it fits the genre
d) Explaining how you have identified the target audience - break down in terms of demographics and psychographics
e) Explaining how it attracts its target audience - this should highlight the importance of the conventions
d) State what you like/don't like and explain why.

You can choose to present this in the form of annotation (PowerPoint) or continuous prose (Word). If you do the latter, ensure you include specific examples.
