Media Magazine Awards

The Media department’s A Level students attended the Media Magazine Awards, at the BFI Southbank, on Wednesday 6^th July. It was a great opportunity for AS students to see exemplary work during a screening of student made music videos and film openings in preparation for their next piece of coursework.

This is the second year in a row that Alperton students have been shortlisted. This year, Vinay, Daoud and Chirag's A grade film opening was up against some stiff competition. We were immensely proud to see their work on the big screen at the NFT1. Although they did not win, they received excellent feedback from director/writer Eva Riley who was very impressed with their ability to direct, film and edit.

ACS students and parents are invited to see Vinay’s entry at the ACS Media Exhibition on Thursday 14^th July, which will also showcase the brilliant print and video work produced by GCSE and A Level students.
